Non-executive Director Robert Craig has decided to step down from the Board of Directors. His resignation is as of the date 21st September 2026. Robert has been on the PFK Board for 3 ½ years and has decided now is the time to move on. The Board would like to thank Robert for his contribution during his time associated with the Company and wish him all the very best for his future endeavours.
PFK Company Statement regarding John Robson, James Pyrah and Liddle & Co
PFK and Rural issued court proceedings against John and James for alleged breaches of their employment contracts and directors’ duties and against Liddle & Co for allegedly inducing those breaches. John, James and Liddle & Co disputed the claim against them. The parties engaged in a settlement process and have resolved the proceedings. The terms of that settlement are confidential to the parties.

At the recent sale of shares ending Friday, 17th July 2026 200 shares were sold out of a total of 680 which were available. They were sold for £16.00 per share.
PFK is pleased to announce that on Monday, 30th March 2026, Mrs Justine Carruthers was appointed as a non-executive member of the Penrith Farmers’ and Kidd’s Plc Board of Directors.
Justine is the Managing Director of Penrith-based Traybakes Ltd having founded the Company in 1990, she is married to Steven and the family run a mixed farm near Shap.
When not working, Justine is a keen ultramarathon runner.
Justine’s commercial and agricultural experience will be a huge asset to the Company and we look forward to working closely alongside her as we celebrate our 150th year in business.
